Mercado Eletrônico, Latin American leader in B2B e-commerce solutions, released the User Experience Evolution Program recently, and offered several improvements and innovations in its technological platform. The goal is to make users’ daily lives more pleasant, simple, productive and strategic.

For this project, we relied on a team of UX (User Experience) experts, in charge of deploying novelties and fostering more and more business processes in the ME community – composed by more than 1 million users, who transact around R$ 100 billion per year in business deals.

 

User experience program: a cleaner and more strategic layout

Our platform has undergone several updates, such as: new layout of the action buttons, fewer colors for a more pleasant look, new font for easier reading, new icons, improved filters, free text fields and a table, among others. “We work to offer an increasingly responsive and smart platform, to foster more business deals between companies”, says Fabrizio Tassitano, Product and Marketing Director at Mercado Eletrônico.

Among the recent novelties, we have the best segmentation of suppliers. With this feature, they can be easily found by buyers and will have access to quotations that better match their profiles.

Buyers will be able to use a new top navigation bar, with access to the key features of the e-Procurement platform. This update will allow users to have quick access to actions in the header directly, and make more assertive decisions.

 

85% customer satisfaction

Many users are already working on the platform with this new usability. Since the beginning of the program, 3 months ago, there has been 300% increase in people’s engagement with the new features, and the number of users who chose to work on the platform’s updated version has doubled. In a recent survey conducted by our UX team, the result showed 85% satisfaction.

“We know that changes can create discomfort in a first moment, but we didn’t face any resistance. On the contrary, users are satisfied and we are able to prove it thanks to the high satisfaction percentage in the survey. Promoting a modern and simple environment that conducts users to a better performance is among the program’s priorities”, concludes Mr. Tassitano.
